The present invention provides a data storage device and an operating method thereof. The data storage device includes: memory devices including a main region and a virtual region individually; and a processor forming a super page by selecting only a main page of the main region or a virtual super page by selecting the main page or a virtual page of the virtual region, in each of the memory devices. The processor selects the virtual page when the main page cannot be selected. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the data storage device can provide maximized interleaving performance and space efficiency. |
