METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING RADIO RESOURCE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A base station of a mobile communication system detects whether a terminal has entered a beam overlap region between a serving beam and a target beam and allocates, to the target beam, at least one radio resource other than the radio resource of the serving beam allocated to the beam overlap region among the allocable radio resources when detecting that the terminal has entered the beam overlap region. Therefore, a method and an apparatus for managing radio resources in a mobile communication system according to the present invention can prevent the degradation of service quality by minimizing interference between the beams in the beam overlap region.
