FIELD: engines.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalyst for oxidation of exhaust gases, intended for exhaust gases absorbtion emitted from internal combustion engines. Catalyser contains catalyst substrate, in which multiple channels are formed for exhaust gas and catalyst layer formed on surface of channels for exhaust gas in substrate catalyst; wherein catalyst layer consists of lower catalyst bed, top layer of catalyst, which outer side is directed to channels for exhaust gas, and intermediate layer of catalyst located between lower layer of catalyst and upper layer of catalyst, and said catalyst layer is made so that it covers at least 25 % of surface of channel for exhaust gas, and in which lower layer of catalyst contains at least oxygen absorbing agent as catalyst component, but does not contain adsorbent hydrocarbon, wherein intermediate layer of catalyst contains at least, metal catalyst applied on carrier from metal oxide, and adsorbent hydrocarbon as components of catalyst, and upper layer of catalyst contains at least oxygen absorbing agent and adsorbent hydrocarbon as components of catalyst.
