The present invention provides an apparatus for treating lump ore for a surge hopper of a sintering machine which prevents a line escape of a scraper passing between grizzly bars of a surge hopper. The apparatus for treating lump ore for a surge hopper of a sintering machine comprises: a shuttle conveyor which reciprocates on an upper portion of a surge hopper of a sintering machine and feeds a mixing material into the surge hopper; grizzly bars arranged on the upper portion of the surge hopper at regular intervals to filter lump ore in the mixing material; and a scraper rotatably installed on the shuttle conveyor and extended between the grizzly bars to remove the lump ore filtered between the grizzly bars.
