The present invention relates to a power supply device for an emergency light in case of a fire or a power failure configured to automatically light the emergency light by a normal power source during the state of a live wire of the normal power source. The power supply device for an emergency light comprising a normal power source input part installed in the rear end of a switching means for switching the normal power source and an emergency power source and configured to receive the normal power source to be supplied to a normal light, an emergency power source input part configured to receive the emergency power source to be supplied to the emergency light, and a transfer switch for transferring a power source input so that the emergency light is automatically lit by the emergency power source at the time of the power failure of the normal power source, comprises: a firefighting power source monitoring relay operated by a firefighting power source in case of the fire; a firefighting power source monitoring relay contact switch connected to the firefighting power source monitoring relay for switching a power source from the ATS (Auto Transfer Switch) to be connected to the emergency power source input part; a fire driving device installed in the emergency power source input part and operated by the power source inputted to the emergency power source input part; and an emergency light automatic lighting switch connected to the fire driving device to switch the device so that the emergency light is connected to the normal power source input part and to automatically light the emergency light. According to the present invention, in case of the fire during the state of a live wire of the normal power source, without a separate switch operation, an emergency light is automatically lit by the normal power source so that people who encounter danger in a building can be evacuated safely via an emergency path or an emergency exit.
