The present invention provides a vacuum pump which has a structure of facilitating manufacture as a pitch of a screw blade of a driving screw member and a driven screw member is formed to be constant. The vacuum pump also improves a suction force in an inlet and compresses gas in a gas transfer space by having a structure in which the pitch is continuously reduced. According to the present invention, the vacuum pump includes: the driving screw member; the driven screw member; and a gas pressure adding device additionally supplying the gas to the gas transfer space between driven screw blades and the gas transfer space between driving screw blades in order for the pressure to rise as the gas transferred by engaged rotation of the driving screw member and the driven screw member is transferred to an outlet. |
