The present invention relates to an apparatus for guiding parking of an autonomous vehicle and a method thereof, wherein both autonomous vehicles and regular vehicles can be quickly parked and parking lot management can be optimized, by guiding autonomous vehicles not to interfere with regular vehicles so that parking can be done efficiently while meeting the request of the autonomous vehicle′s owner, at a parking lot used by both autonomous and regular vehicles. For such purpose, the apparatus for guiding parking of an autonomous vehicle of the present invention comprises: a smart phone communication unit which receives parking guide options for autonomous vehicles from smart phones; a route generator unit which generates a plurality of parking routes with priority that meets the parking guide options; a parking preference analyzer unit which analyzes parking preferences of regular vehicles that are parked at the parking lot; a route guide unit which guides autonomous vehicle with route information of priority among the plurality of parking routes generated by the route generator unit, that does not overlap with parking routes corresponding to regular vehicle′s parking preferences; and an autonomous vehicle communication unit which transmits route information that is guided by the route guide unit, to the autonomous vehicle. |
