The present invention relates to a railway vehicle cabin temperature control system enabling a crew to control cabin temperature by a remote controller at a fixed distance instead of directly contacting to manipulate a temperature controller controlling cooling and heating temperature in a cabin of a railway vehicle by hands, and a method thereof. A railway vehicle cabin temperature control system according to the present invention includes: a remote controller transmitter part to transmit a radio signal as to a setting temperature of a command to set to increase or decrease the temperature in the cabin of the railway vehicle; a remote controller receiver part to receive the radio signal as to the setting temperature transmitted from the remote controller transmitter part; a temperature sensing part to sense the temperature in the cabin; a control part to control a cooling or a heating operation so that the temperature in the cabin becomes the setting temperature according to the radio signal received through the remote controller receiver part; and a cooling and heating part to supply cool air or hot air into the cabin so that the temperature in the cabin becomes the setting temperature according to the control of the control part.
