FIELD: medical equipment.SUBSTANCE: method is intended for processing a gear wheel by skiving. Two side surfaces of the tooth are treated with different settings, but using same instrument by continuously applying an alternating semi-finished approach. Property of semifinished approach is that all of left sides of cutting edge of the tool are used twice, while right sides of the cutting edges are used only once. Same tool is used for making gear teeth, so that side cutting edges which have previously been subjected to heavy load during manufacture of first workpiece are then less frequently used in next operations. This is achieved due to that other side cutting edges are used much less frequently or less frequently during manufacturing of a second workpiece.EFFECT: technical result is longer tool life.11 cl, 12 dwg |
