PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To definitely reinforce a resin heald for a long term.SOLUTION: Metal pieces 10,11 as reinforcing members are fixed at both end parts 4, 7 of a resin heald 1. The metal pieces 10, 11 are formed in U-shape in a planar view and have a head part formed by curving one of two leg parts and a claw part formed by bending a part of the other leg part at a right angle. The claw part penetrates end parts 4, 7 of the resin heald 1 and is bent on the opposite side. A space between the leg parts is wider than a width of engagement spaces 5,9. A part of the engagement spaces 5, 9 is surrounded by the leg parts and the head part. The metal pieces 17, 18 in U-shape are fixed at a central part 2 of the resin heald 1. The metal pieces 17, 18 have the same shape as the metal pieces 10, 11, but are smaller in size in conformity to the size of the central part 2 and a thread hole 3, and are arranged so that the head part comes to the opposite side. The resin heald 1 is reinforced at both end parts 4, 7 and the central part 2 by the metal pieces 10, 11, 17, 18, which achieve strength, rigidity and abrasion resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
