PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detaching and replacing a mold for a press brake without projecting from a mold storage device, and the mold storage device.SOLUTION: In the mold storage device 1 disposed on the side of a press brake 3, a lower die holder 105 having a desired lower die 103 is lifted by lower die holder support members 33L and 33R supporting a plurality of lower die holders 105 to be moved to the side or a rear side, and both end sides of the lower die holder 105 in a horizontal direction are passed through recesses 117 formed in the lower die holder support members 33L and 33R to be lowered. Then, the lowered lower die holder 105 is conveyed forward to be positioned at the same height as that of a lower die fitting part 11 in a lower table 13 in the press brake 3, and a lower die 103 installed in the lower die holder 105 is transferred to toe lower die fitting part 11 of the lower table 13 by a mold replacement device 19L to be fitted to the lower table 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
