PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical tomographic imaging apparatus that can acquire a two dimensional or/and three dimensional tomographic image having a higher SNR and image quality by correcting polarization mode dispersion (PMD) being a main cause of image deterioration of an optical tomographic image, and an amplitude/phase shift caused in a sub-pixel shift and caused between each element of the Jones matrix of each pixel in mathematical processing, without adding a new optical system.SOLUTION: An optical tomographic imaging apparatus includes: a step of multiplexing a reflected light from one reflecting surface and a reference light from a reference optical path in a predetermined position of a measurement optical path and acquiring an A scanning image corresponding to the Jones matrix; a step of acquiring amplitude/phase information of each element of the Jones matrix of each pixel of the A scanning image; and a step of acquiring relative information between each element of the Jones matrix of each pixel. The optical tomographic imaging apparatus corrects an amplitude phase shift existing between each element of the Jones matrix in each pixel of the tomographic image of a specimen by modeling relative information between each element as the product between the wave number dependent matrix and the wave number independent matrix.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
