PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet conveyance device including a sensor capable of correcting an adjustment failure of sensitivity on the spot when the adjustment failure occurs during assembly.SOLUTION: In a paper sheet conveyance device, a sensor including a light emitting section 14 and a light receiving section 21 is disposed at opposite positions across a conveyance passage 11 so as to detect a paper sheet 1 to be conveyed. Light shielding masks 27 and 28 are disposed between a light- emitting element 6 of the light emitting section 14 and a light guide section 16 and between a light receiving element 7 of the light receiving section 21 and a light guide section 23. One of the light emitting section 14 and the light receiving section 21 is rotationally moved with an optical axis 17 as a center so that quantity of light transmitting the light guide sections 16 and 23 can be changed and sensor sensitivity can be changed. The quantity of light is changed by changing the shapes and dispositions of the light shielding masks 27 and 28 and further changing fitting positions of the light emitting section 14 and the light receiving section 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
