PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform disk rotational speed control and data playback processing control on the basis of the lowest reading rate information of recorded data of a disk.SOLUTION: A playback device for executing data playback from a disk reads the lowest reading rate information recorded in the disk, controls a disk rotational speed so as to enable data reading at a rate equal to or more than the lowest reading rate, and executes data reading at the lowest reading rate or more. The playback device acquires, for example, the lowest reading rate information corresponding to the entire disk recorded data, or the lowest reading rate information of a title unit, and executes a disk rotational speed and playback control of the entire disk recorded data or the title unit on the basis of the acquired lowest reading rate information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
