PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which allows for enhancement of pixel interpolation performance in a direction close to vertical, without increasing the number of line memories.SOLUTION: When calculating the correlation values in a right oblique direction and a left oblique direction, the information of pixels in the direction of a processing object is used, as it is, in the vertical second line of a pixel to be interpolated, when there is a corresponding pixel in the direction of a processing object, the information of the pixel is used, as it is, in the vertical first line of the pixel to be interpolated, and when there is no corresponding pixel, the information of a plurality of adjacent pixels is used for calculating the correlation value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
