Provided is a liquid crystal display panel (100) for a curved screen, containing multiple display areas and a black matrix layer (125). A first display area (151) is located between a second display area (152) and a central display area (150); and the black matrix layer (125) is used to adjust the areas of a primary pixel (114) and a secondary pixel (116) of each display area, so that an area ratio of the secondary pixel (116) to the primary pixel (114) of the first display area (151) is equal to an area ratio of the secondary pixel (116) to the primary pixel (114) of the central display area (150), an area ratio of the secondary pixel (116) to the primary pixel (114) of a second display area (152) is greater than the area ratio of the secondary pixel (116) to the primary pixel (114) of the first display area (151), and the area of the primary pixel (114) of the central display area (150) is less than the area of the primary pixel (114) of the first display area (151), and is greater than the area of the primary pixel (114) of the second display area (152). The liquid crystal display panel (100) for a curved screen is divided into three display areas (150, 151, 152). The black matrix layer (125) is used to adjust the size of the areas of the primary pixel (114) and the secondary pixel (116) of the three display areas (150, 151, 152) and an area ratio thereof, which can simultaneously improve a dark area of a curved screen and the phenomenon of colour cast of side-looking audiences. |
