Disclosed are an electronic cigarette and an atomization control method thereof. The cigarette comprises an atomizer (1) and a battery rod assembly (2), wherein the battery rod assembly (2) is provided with a battery (21) which supplies power to the atomizer (1) so as to atomize cigarette oil; the electronic cigarette further comprises a control unit (3) electrically connected to the atomizer (1) and the battery (21); the atomizer (1) comprises an oil cup assembly, a suction nozzle (11), and an atomization core for atomizing cigarette oil, wherein the oil cup assembly is provided with an oil storage chamber (101) and an oil feed port (102), one end of the atomization core is sheathed with a flexible sealed tube (13) that is in communication with a smoke passage and the suction nozzle (11), and a conductive element (14) is sheathed outside the flexible sealed tube (13); the suction nozzle (11) is inserted into the oil cup assembly and abuts against the conductive element (14) so as to be electrically connected to the control unit (3) or the battery (21) via the conductive element (14), and a conductive sleeve (22) is sheathed on an outer peripheral surface of the battery rod assembly (2); and one of the suction nozzle (11) and the conductive sleeve (22) is electrically connected to the control unit (3), and the other is electrically connected to the battery (21). When a user is smoking, the skin makes contact with the suction nozzle (11) and the conductive sleeve (22) to enable the suction nozzle (11) to be in conduction with the conductive sleeve (22), and when the control unit (3) detects that the suction nozzle (11) is in conduction with the conductive sleeve (22), controlling the battery (21) to supply power to the atomizer (1) so as to atomize the cigarette oil. |
