Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention are a serial attached small computer system interface (SAS) system and traversal method and device thereof. The SAS system comprises: an SAS controller, a first expansion board, a second expansion board, and a third expansion board, the first expansion board comprising a first port and a second port; the second expansion board and the third expansion board establish a communication connection with the SAS controller via the first expansion board; the first expansion board establishes a communication connection with the second expansion board via the first port; the first expansion board establishes a communication connection with the third expansion board via the second port; and the second expansion board is connected to the third expansion board. The SAS system presented in the embodiment of the present invention improves the operation reliability of the expansion board in the SAS system. |
