The present invention provides a method for producing a sheet-like member (20as) in which high stretchability/contractibility regions (AH), and low stretchability/contractibility regions (AL) having a stretchability/contractibility lower than that of the high stretchability/contractibility regions (AH) in a predetermined direction, are aligned in the predetermined direction. When a continuous sheet (21s) to which a plurality of elastic members (27s, 27s…) are fixed passes, along the conveying direction, between a cutter rotating body (51u) and an anvil rotating body (51d) that rotate such that the outer circumferential surfaces thereof oppose each other, the continuous sheet (21s) is clamped by the anvil rotating body (51d) and a plurality of cutter blades (C, C…) on the outer circumferential surface (51ua) of the cutter rotating body (51u) , whereby the plurality of elastic members (27s, 27s…) are cut. For each of first cutter blades (C1) positioned at both ends in the CD direction among the plurality of cutter blades (C, C…), a second cutter blade (C2) overlapping the first cutter blade (C1) in the CD direction is present. At least one third cutter blade (C4) is located at a position between the first cutter blade (C1) and the second cutter blade (C2) in the direction in which the cutter rotating body (51u) rotates. The third cutter blade (C4) is disposed at a position, in the CD direction, which is different from the position of a portion (OL1) where the first cutter blade (C1) and the second cutter blade (C2) overlap in the CD direction. |
