PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical electric lead wire and a method of forming the same.SOLUTION: A medical electric lead wire includes: an insulative lead wire body extending from the tip region to the base end region; a conductor disposed inside the insulative lead wire body extending from the base end region to the tip region; an electrode disposed on the insulative lead wire body that electrically contacts the conductor; and a non-conductive fibrous matrix including polycarbonate-based polyurethane disposed so as to cover the electrode at least partially. The fibrous matrix has an average fiber diameter of less than 0.75 μm and a thickness of 13-51 μm. A method of forming the medical electric lead wire includes a step for forming the fibrous matrix by an electrospinning method or a melt-blow method, and a step for disposing the fibrous matrix so as to cover the electrode at least partially.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
