PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode body used for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which enables the exhibition of a high battery performance (e.g. a high output) over a long period of time by retaining a proper amount of NMP in a positive electrode active material layer over a long period of time.SOLUTION: An electrode body is provided according to the present invention, which comprises: a positive electrode having a positive electrode active material layer; a negative electrode having a negative electrode active material layer; and a separator electrically separating the positive and negative electrodes from each other. The positive electrode active material layer and the separator include N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP). The content of NMP included in the positive electrode active material layer is 54-602 ppm to a total solid content of the positive electrode active material layer. The content of NMP included in the separator is 10-26 ppm to the total solid content of the positive electrode active material layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
