PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool limited in reaction even when a load is suddenly reduced, and high in operability.SOLUTION: A power tool includes a motor, a control unit for controlling power supply to the motor, rotational speed detection means for detecting the rotational speed of the motor, and a main switch for transmitting an ON-OFF signal for switching the motor between driving and stopping to the control unit. The control unit executes constant speed control for supplying power to control the motor at a first rotational speed, and can switch the motor to power operation control for supplying power irrespective of a rotational speed when a predetermined load is detected during the constant speed control. The control unit executes control so as to prevent the rotational speed of the motor from exceeding a second rotational speed higher than the first rotational speed during the power operation control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
