PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone separator and a vacuum cleaner, which can reduce the noises to be generated at the time of centrifugally separating dusts in a swirling chamber and a dust chamber.SOLUTION: A centrifugal separator 5 comprises: a revolving chamber 20 for separating garbage from garbage containing air; and a 0-th order dust chamber 22 for communicating with a 0-th order opening 21 formed in the revolving chamber 20 and for collecting the garbage separated in the revolving chamber 20. The centrifugal separator 5 further comprises a silencer 30a disposed in a region on the upstream side in the turning axis direction more than the 0-th order opening 21 in the 0-th order dust chamber 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
