PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector which reliably holds a wiring board and can easily pull out the wiring board without impairing the advantage of reduced height.SOLUTION: A housing 10 includes an insertion port through which an end portion of a flexible printed circuit board (FPC) 3 is inserted. A lock member 11 is a pair of extension members which extends from a back side of the housing 10 toward a direction of the insertion port. A lock claw 22 is disposed at each tip end of the lock member 11 to lock notches 5 disposed at both ends of the FPC 3 in a width direction. A slide member 12 is mounted on the housing 10 to slide between a position where each lock member 11 is held to lock the lock claw 22 with the notch 5, and a position where the holding of each lock member 11 is released, to release the lock between the lock claw 22 and the notch 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
