PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a passenger that the passenger's luggage has been successfully loaded onto a vehicle for transport.SOLUTION: To verify a location of an item 104 aboard a vehicle 102, at least one radio frequency identification signal (RFID signal) 114 is received by a transceiver device 118 located in the vehicle 102. Each RFID signal 114 is associated with an RFID tag 108 of the item 104 aboard the vehicle. Among the RFID signals 114, at least one RFID signal 114 is processed and transmitted by the transceiver device 118 to a passenger compartment 120 of the vehicle 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
