PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main stream valve capable of suppressing increase of pressure loss by minimizing influence on fluid main flow and suppressing generation of swirl eddy current in a flow channel, and to provide a steam turbine.SOLUTION: A main stream valve 1 includes a cylindrical guide 6 extended from an axis O as a center, a valve element 3 disposed inside of the guide 6 slidably in the direction of axis O, a valve rod 4 moving the valve element 3 in the direction of axis O between an opening position and a closing position, a casing 2 forming a flow channel 12 for leading out a fluid F introduced from an inflow direction along the direction of axis O to an outflow direction intersecting the inflow direction, and provided with a valve seat 5 with which the valve element 3 on the closing position is kept into contact, on its inner face, and a valve chest 7 formed inside of the casing 2. In the valve chest 7, one of an inner peripheral face 7a of the casing 2 and an outer peripheral face 6a of the guide 6 is provided with a projecting portion 70a so that the fluid circulated along the same collides therewith.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
