Provided is a method for measuring heterophoria to give an appropriate prescription for each heterophoria patient. The method for measuring heterophoria according to the present invention comprises the steps of: preparing a Howell heterophoria card; measuring whether an inspection subject has heterophoria symptoms by using the Howell heterophoria card; measuring a distance between the pupils of the inspection subject when the inspection subject is determined to have the heterophoria symptoms; measuring a heterophoria value of the inspection subject by using the Howell heterophoria card; and calculating a prescription value appropriate to the inspection subject by converting the measured heterophoria value by the following equation 3: Δ3 = 0.1 x [ (D_α x L_α) + (D_β x L_β) ], where D represents a diopter, L represents the length of a lens, α represents a right eye, and β represents a left eye. |
