PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost manufacturing method for a door handle of a vehicle offering excellent durability and appearance, maintaining the excellent appearance for a long period, and ensures user safety.SOLUTION: A door handle (1) fitted on a vehicle door, such as an inner door handle and an outer door handle, is manufactured in the following steps: an injection molding step (6) for forming a resin molded part from polycarbonate or ABS resin; a sputtering step (7) for forming a metallic film over a handle part (2) of the resin molded part; and finally a coating layer formation step (8) for forming a coating layer on the metallic film, thus completing the door handle (1). In the coating layer formation step (8), toluene is used as a solvent and a solvent-based UV coating that contains an acrylic resin is used. After applying the coating, UV light is irradiated for forming a coating layer of the acrylic resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
