PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that can spread a developer uniformly over a developer carrier in the longitudinal direction when conveying means supplies the developer to the developer carrier beyond a guide part.SOLUTION: There is provided a developing device 1 including: a developing container 2 that has an opening 2X; a developing roller 8 that is arranged in the opening 2X; a first conveying screw 5 that conveys a developer inside the developing container 2; a regulating blade 9 that is at an upper edge part of the opening 2X; a guide part 11 that has a guide surface 11X guiding a developer at a position interposed between the first conveying screw 5 and a developing sleeve 8X, where an upper end part 11X1 of the guide surface 11 is arranged above a lower end of the regulating blade 9, and the magnetic pole N1 of a magnet roller 8Y is in an area of an attractive force attracting a developer to the developing sleeve 8X and is on the upstream side in the direction of rotation J of the developing sleeve 8X with respect to the peak position of the magnetic flux density of the magnetic pole N1; and a rotary levelling member 12 that is above the guide part 11 to level a developer reaching the member in the longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
