The present invention relates to motorized electric strike (1) designed to interact with a falling latch comprising a latch bolt to lock a lockable element in a certain position, e.g. a door, which motorized electric strike (1) comprises a housing (2) with a recess (25) for the accommodation of a latch bolt from the falling latch, further the motorized electric strike (1) comprises a pivoting latch (4) arranged in the recess, which pivoting latch is pivotably arranged with said housing (2), wherein below said pivoting latch (4) an axis is longitudinally arranged with said housing (2), said axis (5) comprises a latch block (7) which is movable along a threaded (50) part of the axis (5), that said threaded part (50) of the axis (5) at least partly extends below said pivoting latch (4), that said axis (5) is arranged at a motor (52) which motor (52) by means of the axis (5) moves the latch block (7) between a locked position (L) and an open position (O), wherein the latch block (7) in the locked position (L) is positioned below said pivoting latch (4) and prevents the falling motion of the pivoting latch (4) while the latch block (7) in the open position (O) is positioned beside the falling space of said pivoting latch (4). |
