A service data stream transmission method and device are disclosed, wherein the method includes: establishing working channels and protection channels for service data streams; detecting the service data streams; according to the detection result, selecting channels from the working channels and the protection channels to transmit the service data streams. According to the present invention, the problem that channel level protection can not be realized in the connection of Packet Transport Networks and Multi-Service Transport Platform MSTP/Synchronous Digital Hierarchy SDH networks in related art is solved, and the channel protection for the service data stream is achieved by packet Transport devices. |
