The invention relates to an optoelectronic device which comprises at least one wavelength conversion region (1) having at least one dual emitter as a wavelength conversion material (2), said wavelength conversion region (1) converting a primary radiation at least partly to a secondary radiation, and the dual emitter having a first and a second electronic basic state as well as a first electronically excited state and a second electronically excited state which can be attained from the first electronically excited state, and the dual emitter having an emission from the second electronically excited state to the second basic state. The invention further relates to the use of a dual emitter as a wavelength conversion material in an optoelectronic device. |
