PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method for a mold of a molding machine capable of measuring parallelism between a fixed mold mounted on a fixed platen and a movable mold mounted on a movable platen by relatively simple method or relatively low-cost device, and a measuring device for the mold of the molding machine.SOLUTION: In a measuring method for a mold 25 of a molding machine 11 which measures parallelism between a fixed mold 19 mounted on a fixed platen 15 and a movable mold 22 mounted on a movable platen 21, at least one pair of measuring probes 56 are attached to different positions of the mold 22 or the platen 21, the distances to corresponding positions 46a in the mold 19 or the platen 15 are each measured by the measuring probes 56 to obtain measured values d1, d2, d3, and d4, relative values d5 and d6 are obtained from the relationship with the measured values, and the relative values d5 and d6 are used for display or control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
