PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid consuming device which can estimate viscosity of a liquid in a storage chamber at a time point when a liquid container is attached to an attachment part.SOLUTION: A liquid consuming device includes: a liquid container having a first storage chamber, a second storage chamber, and a liquid supply port; an attachment part; a liquid consuming part; a communication mechanism which communicates the first storage chamber and the second storage chamber; a detection part which outputs a detection signal in response to an amount of a liquid moving from the first storage chamber to the second storage chamber; measuring means (S5) which measures a physical quantity by which a flow rate of the liquid moving from the first storage chamber to the second storage chamber can be specified; and determination means (S8) which determines whether the physical quantity measured by the measuring means is included in a threshold range or not.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
