PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket which houses a card, in which a thick wall part for taking-out operation is provided at a rear edge, an area of the card covered by a shell is expanded while the taking-out operation of the thick wall part is allowed, thereby enabling improvement of the noise shield performance.SOLUTION: A card connector 1 (socket) includes: a housing 11 configured to house a card 101; and a shell 61 formed by using a material that may shield noise and covering the card 101 housed in the housing 11. The shell 61 has an expansion part 66 covering a thick wall part 111 for taking-out operation provided at a rear edge of the card 101. The expansion part 66 has a slit 67 for taking out the thick wall part 111 at a part thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
