PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with an image of a fashion item.SOLUTION: An information providing system includes: extraction image receiving means which receives an extraction image formed by extracting an image of a range specified by a user, from an object image, from a user terminal of a user; specifying means which specifies a color and pattern of the extraction image received by the extraction image receiving means; color pattern image selection means which refers to a color pattern dictionary corresponding to a set of color and pattern specified by the specifying means, to select a color pattern image similar to the extraction image, from among color pattern images registered on the color pattern dictionary; fashion item image selection means which refers to an image database which stores fashion item images, to select a fashion item image formed of a color pattern similar to the color pattern image selected by the color pattern image selection means; and fashion item image transmission means which transmits the fashion item image selected by the fashion item image selection means, to the user terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
