PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer capacitor in which a vibration generated therein is hardly propagated to a substrate.SOLUTION: In a multilayer capacitor, a pair of external electrodes 3 has: a base electrode 4 including a metal layer 4g and a conductive resin layer 4h; and a plating layer 5, the base electrode 4 has: end surface portions 4c and 4d covering an end surface; a first principal surface extending portion 4a extending from the end surface portions 4c and 4d each to a first principal surface 1a; and a first side surface extending portion 4e extending from the end surface portions 4c and 4d each to a first side surface 1e and a second side surface extending portion 4f extending to a second side surface 1f, and the plating layer 5 is formed so that the conductive resin layer 4h is exposed at a ridge portion 6a positioned between the end surfaces 4c and 4d and the first principal extending portion 4a and at a ridge portion 6c positioned between the first and second side surface extending portions and the first principal extending portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
