PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball valve capable of suppressing abrasion of a seal from an object to be transported, and prolonging a service life of the seal, and a flow rate control method using the ball valve.SOLUTION: A ball valve 10 adjusts a rotational angle position of a valve body 14, and makes the whole of an opening part 15 positioned at a hollow part 19 of a seal 17. Consequently, after adjusting the rotational angle position of the valve body 14, the opening part 15 does not contact with the seal 17, an object 3 to be transported passing the opening part 15 does not contact with the seal 17, and abrasion of the seal 17 due to the object 3 to be transported is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
