PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a material to be detected, capable of detecting a material to be detected with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A method for detecting a material to be detected includes detecting the material to be detected by using a working electrode and a counter electrode and forming a complex comprising the material to be detected and metal fine particles included in a sample on the working electrode, in which the working electrode is washed by using a measurement solution having a composition same as a measurement solution which is used for measurement of current, voltage, or electric charge resulting from the metal fine particle. As the measurement solution, a solution whose pH is set so that, electrostatic interaction does not occur between the metal fine particles and the working electrode, or, electrostatic repulsion occurs between the metal fine particles and the working electrode, caused by, zeta potentials of the metal fine particles and the working electrode, or a measurement solution whose pH is 3.5 or higher, is used.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
