PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated wire and a coaxial cable for signal transmission having excellent transmission properties, including suppressed skew.SOLUTION: A coaxial cable has a conductor, a first insulating layer that covers the periphery of the conductor, and a second insulating layer that covers the periphery of the first insulating layer, where the first insulating layer has an insulated wire predominantly composed of an amorphous cycloolefin polymer, an external conductor that covers the periphery of the insulated wire and an outer covering layer that covers the periphery of the external conductor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
