PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate an operation rod in a direction along a border of an operation rod movable area in the vicinity of the border.SOLUTION: A training device 200 comprises: an operation rod 3; a power amount detection part; an operation position detection part; a border line direction speed calculation part 1111-17'; an operation position prediction part 1111-19'; and an operation speed calculation part 1111-3'. The operation rod 3 moves a limb being held. The power amount detection part outputs a power amount component signal based on a magnitude of a power amount component. The operation position detection part detects an operation position of the operation rod 3. The border line direction speed calculation part 1111-17' calculates a border line direction speed. The operation position prediction part 1111-19' calculates a predicted operation position P''.
