PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray detector that uses a scintillator material having high quantum efficiency that can be a safe substitute for CWO.SOLUTION: An X-ray detector according to the present invention includes a scintillator material and photodiode. The scintillator material comprises a fluoride monocrystal represented by a formula MREF, where M represents Ba, RE represents Eu, and x and y satisfy 0.05<x≤0.3 and 0≤w≤0.5. The scintillator material is excited by X-rays and emits red light, and the photodiode absorbs the red light emission.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
