PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a physiological parameter by obtaining a PPG signal.SOLUTION: A physiological parameter measuring device includes a processor and a video image processing module which is connected to the processor and divides each of a plurality of frames of a video image of a body part that is a subject whose physiological parameter is determined into a plurality of blocks. The video image processing module further selects a block with a highest peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) out of the plurality of the blocks. Further, the video image processing module extracts a photo plethysmogram (PPG) signal from the video image based on a block identifier associated with the block. The physiological parameter measuring device further comprises a signal enhancement module which is connected to the processor and performs processing on the PPG signal to obtain an enhanced PPG signal for determining a value of the physiological parameter of the subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
