PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine capable of shortening a molding cycle time.SOLUTION: An injection molding machine includes an on-off switching unit to open and close a fixed mold and a movable mold, an injection unit to fill a molding material in a cavity space formed between the fixed mold and the movable mold, and a controller to control the on-off switching unit and the injection unit. The controller completes a mold closing step practiced by the on-off switching unit and a pressure holding step practiced by the injection unit while the movable mold is located in front of a position where the movable mold contacts the fixed mold, and starts a filling step to be practiced by the injection unit during the mold closing step while the movable mold is located in front of a position where it is located when the mold closing step is completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
