PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide angle zoom lens having a short length in an optical axis direction and a small front ball diameter when a camera is used and stored, and an imaging apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: A zoom lens includes, in order from an object side, a first lens group having negative refractive power, a second lens group having negative refractive power, a third lens group having positive refractive power, and a fourth lens group having positive refractive power. A lens disposed closest to an image side in the first lens group is a negative lens whose concave surface faces the image side. A distance between the first lens group and the second lens group is narrower at a telephoto end than at a wide angle end. A distance between the second lens group and the third lens group is wider at the telephoto end than at the wide angle end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
