Proposed are a composition and a set for the prevention and treatment of disorders associated with overweight or obesity, containing tesofensine and metformin as active ingredients in an amount of from 0.1 to 2 mg of tesofensine and from 500 to 3000 mg of metformin. The invention also relates to the use of a pharmaceutical composition and set for preventing and treating disorders associated with overweight or obesity, including in the case of diabetes mellitus, and to methods for preventing and treating disorders associated with overweight or obesity, including in the case of diabetes mellitus. The composition has a pronounced synergistic effect, which manifests itself in significant weight loss and significantly reduced side effects when tesofensine and metformin are used in combination in the composition in the case of disorders associated with overweight or obesity, including in the case of diabetes mellitus. |
