摘要 The present invention relates to a peripheral vehicle recognition system. The peripheral vehicle recognition system comprises: a peripheral vehicle information collection unit collecting road information and shape information of a peripheral vehicle; a peripheral vehicle information receiving unit receiving the distance information and the shape information on the peripheral vehicle obtained by the peripheral vehicle from the peripheral vehicle; an information integration unit integrating the distance information and the shaped information received by the peripheral vehicle information receiving unit and the distance information and the shape information collected by the peripheral vehicle information collection unit; and an extraction unit extracting the size and shape of the peripheral vehicle based on information integrated by the information integration unit. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the system, efficiently recognizing the shape and the size of the peripheral vehicle based on communications between the vehicles.
