According to an embodiment of the present invention, a light emitting device comprises: a conductive semiconductor layer; a light emitting structure arranged on the conductive semiconductor layer and including a rod-shaped first conductive type semiconductor layer, an active layer arranged on the first conductive type semiconductor layer, and a second conductive type semiconductor layer; a first electrode arranged on the first conductive type semiconductor layer; a second electrode arranged on the second conductive type semiconductor layer; and a second array light emitting structure having an arrangement direction to be tilted with an angle of 0 to 90° from the direction of one side surface of the conductive semiconductor layer, when the conductive semiconductor layer is viewed from the top. The present invention provides the light emitting device capable of improving light intensity.
