PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article management system and an article management method capable of managing storage states of articles.SOLUTION: An article management method comprises the steps of: receiving, at a pressure sensor installed in a storage part to store articles, data indicating increase and decrease of mass of the articles; recording time when the mass is increased and time when the mass is decreased according to the received data when the increase or decrease of the mass has been continued for a predetermined time; and transmitting a signal when no update for a quantity of the article has been done by an article management data entry means for the articles, the increase or decrease in the mass of which has been continued for the predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
