PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water/water mixing device capable of determining failure of an opening/closing valve for preventing tapping of high-temperature hot water without making a user feel unnecessary uneasiness and distrust during an ordinary hot water tapping operation.SOLUTION: A hot water/water mixing device 1 including a hot water passage 12 in which high-temperature water flows, a water supply passage 11 in which low-temperature water flows, a mixing valve 13 for mixing the high-temperature water and the low-temperature water, a hot water tapping passage 14 in which the mixed hot water/water adjusted to a set temperature by the mixing valve 13 flows, and an opening/closing valve 16 disposed in the hot water passage 12 for preventing tapping of high-temperature hot water, further includes a control unit 20 (failure determination control means) for driving the mixing valve 13 from a low-temperature water-side full-open state to a high-temperature water-side opening direction, and then opening and driving the opening/closing valve 16 in a case when the hot water tapping operation is started by detecting water passing in the hot water tapping passage 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
